According to Reuters, the governor of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Oleksandr Ganzha, stated on the messaging app Telegram that a Russian FPV drone crashed into a bus on its way to a bus stop in the city center of Nikopol.

President Zelenskyy said that the incident resulted in 4 deaths and at least 16 injuries.

He wrote on social media platform X: 'When such acts of terror against civilians and human lives happen every day, it seems strange to obstruct new sanctions against Russia, attempt to weaken existing sanctions, and trade with Russia.'

Photos shared by Zelenskyy showed a burned-out bus with shattered windows and three bodies lying on the sidewalk, while rescue workers assisted the injured.

The administrative head of Ukraine's southern Kherson Oblast, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated on Telegram that in Kherson city, less than 5 kilometers from the front line, Russia continuously attacked residential areas for half an hour, causing the deaths of 3 elderly people and injuries to 7.

Ukrainian officials and human rights organizations accuse Russian forces of intentionally and systematically targeting civilians with FPV drones, with the situation in Kherson Oblast being particularly severe. Russia denies targeting civilians. (Compiled by: Yang Zhao-yan) 1150407
