Largan Precision announced its consolidated revenue for March was NT$2.164 billion, a month-on-month increase of 48.1% and a year-on-year increase of 14.32%. Its consolidated revenue for the first quarter reached NT$6.14 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.39%.
Largan Precision stated that the strong demand in the first quarter of this year led to growth compared to the same period last year. For the second quarter, actual demand will depend on customer orders due to the transition between new and old models. Largan Precision continues to develop new product areas, hoping to increase contributions in the future.
Canon's March revenue was NT$918 million, a year-on-year increase of 92.2%. Its first-quarter revenue was NT$2.655 billion, a year-on-year increase of 77.96%. Canon stated that the first quarter of this year continued the shipping effects from the fourth quarter of last year. In addition to increased demand for imaging products this year, the robotics business will also contribute to revenue throughout the year.
Regarding future operational outlook, Canon pointed out that it will continue to expand optical imaging products and modules, robot arm sensor modules, and drone optical modules. It is also actively cultivating machine vision and sensor modules for humanoid robots, with the development of the humanoid robot industry supply chain becoming a key growth area in the future.
