To accommodate passengers during the Labor Day holiday from May 1st to 3rd, Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) announced information regarding the addition of train services in a press release and will open online, TRA e-booking app, convenience store, and telephone reservations simultaneously starting from midnight on April 10th. Information on the additional train services and schedules can be found on the TRA official website and the 'TRA e-booking' app.

TRA stated that from April 30th to May 4th, a total of 108 trains of various classes will be added across the entire network, including 44 services on the western line and 64 on the eastern line. This includes 4 North-South cross-line Tzu-Chiang trains and 6 South-North cross-line Tzu-Chiang trains, as well as 16 Tzu-Chiang trains on the western main line.

To enhance passenger transport during the holiday, TRA stated that sales for parent-child carriage tickets will be suspended from April 30th to May 4th and will be sold as regular carriages.

Furthermore, during the Labor Day transport period, TRA indicated that standing room services will be suspended on EMU3000 trains on the western main line. Instead, 200 unreserved tickets will be sold daily in limited quantities (entry into car 6 is prohibited). Passengers can book tickets via the official website, pick them up at station counters or automatic ticket machines, or use the 'TRA e-booking' app. (Editor: Zhang Yajing) 1150408
