The criminal judgment of the Ciaotou District Court mentioned that in January 2024, a woman surnamed Hsu rode her motorcycle to a public cemetery in Kaohsiung City and had a dispute with a cemetery administrator surnamed Tung over feeding wild dogs. Afterwards, Hsu told police officers that the other party had said "I'll beat you to death with a wooden stick" and postured to hit her with a stone, making her fear for her safety and file a lawsuit for injury and intimidation endangering safety.

Based on evidence including Hsu's statements, witness testimonies, hospital medical certificates, and police investigation records, the judge believed that Hsu's statements were inconsistent, hiding the cause of their dispute to portray herself as a completely innocent victim of a sudden malicious attack. Furthermore, Hsu did not allow police officers to inspect her injuries but claimed during the investigation that she had shown them to the police. Additionally, after learning that the other party had filed a false accusation lawsuit, she went to the hospital to obtain a new medical certificate that matched her claims, and the photos of the injuries she submitted during the investigation did not match the injured areas she described to the doctor.

Based on the above situation and other relevant evidence, the judge determined that during the dispute, the administrator did not punch her or commit any intimidating acts. Hsu still fabricated the aforementioned false content and filed a lawsuit, causing the administrator to be investigated. Although the case was dropped later, Hsu's actions already constituted the crime of false accusation.

Also taking into consideration that Hsu's actions wasted judicial resources, placed the administrator in danger of criminal punishment, and that Hsu quibbled after the crime without reaching a settlement with the other party, she was sentenced to 6 months in prison for false accusation. The case can be appealed.
