Michael J. Fox, 64, gained global fame for his roles in the TV series 'Family Ties' and the 'Back to the Future' film trilogy.

On April 8th, the American cable news network CNN mistakenly published an article and video titled 'Remembering Michael J. Fox's Life.'

A CNN spokesperson later admitted in a statement, 'We have taken it down from our platform and apologized to Michael J. Fox and his family.'

Michael J. Fox appeared to take the false death report with humor, later posting on social media platform Threads, 'What's your reaction when you turn on the TV and CNN is reporting on your death?'

He offered suggestions including changing the channel or calling his wife, adding one suggestion was, 'Relax, they do this once a year.'

NBC News reported that Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the young age of 29.

Despite his illness, he has continued his acting career and is dedicated to raising public awareness about this neurodegenerative disease. (Editor: Chen Yen-chun) 1150410
