April Taiwan Stock Index Futures Rise 643 Points

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the next two months' index futures contracts at 34,924 points for April futures and 35,059 points for May futures.

The Taiwan stock market closed up 556.67 points today, ending at 35,417.83 points, with a trading volume of NT$829.537 billion.

The April Taiwan stock index futures closed at 35,567 points, up 643 points, with a trading volume of 53,824 contracts; the May futures closed at 35,697 points, up 638 points, with a trading volume of 1,968 contracts.
