April Taiwan Stock Futures Rise 1819 Points

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set opening reference prices for the near two-month index futures contracts: 33177 points for April futures and 33302 points for May futures. The Taiwan stock market closed up 1531.56 points today at 34761.38 points, with a trading volume of NT$856.26 billion. April Taiwan stock futures closed at 34996 points, up 1819 points, trading 73,681 contracts; May futures closed at 35122 points, up 1820 points, trading 1308 contracts.
