15 CCP Aircraft and Vessels Operating Around Taiwan Strait, Armed Forces Strictly Monitor and Respond

According to the "Schematic Diagram of PLA Activities in the Airspace Around the Taiwan Strait" released by the Ministry of National Defense (MND) today, the Armed Forces detected 5 sorties of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) main combat aircraft in the airspace of the Taiwan Strait between 11:50 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. yesterday. All 5 aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern airspace.

The Armed Forces also detected 2 sorties of CCP main and auxiliary combat aircraft in Taiwan's southwestern airspace, east of the median line of the strait, between 10:15 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. yesterday.

The MND pointed out that the Armed Forces used mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to strictly monitor and respond to the situation. (Edited by Lin Jia-hsien) 1150410
