The report stated that Xi Jinping pointed out that China's service industry has steadily expanded in scale and continuously improved in quality and efficiency, playing an important role in supporting industrial upgrading, meeting people's livelihood needs, and driving employment expansion.

Xi Jinping emphasized the need to highlight demand-driven approaches, reform efforts, technological empowerment, and open cooperation. Chinese Premier Li Qiang attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Qiang stated that it is necessary to deepen the understanding of the service industry from a strategic and overall perspective, adapt to changes in population structure, upgrading consumption patterns, and industrial structure transformation trends, focus on key areas of production and life, and promote the development of the service industry in a stratified and categorized manner.
