Suspect arrested after Molotov cocktail thrown at OpenAI CEO's San Francisco mansion

"Upon arrival, police learned that an unidentified man threw an incendiary device at a residence, causing the outer gate to catch fire. The suspect then fled the scene on foot," the SFPD stated. Shortly thereafter, they received a report and went to the OpenAI office, where a man was making threats. "When officers arrived at the scene, they recognized the man as the same suspect from the earlier incident and immediately arrested him," the SFPD said in the statement. Police have not released the name of the arrested man, stating only that he is 20 years old. An OpenAI spokesperson confirmed the attack on the CEO's home and the threat to the San Francisco headquarters, and told AFP: "We are very grateful for the San Francisco Police Department's swift response and the city's support in maintaining the safety of our employees.
