This live show was organized in response to the positive reception of "The Best Comedy "OWARAI" from JAPAN in English," an all-English comedy show performed by 12 Japanese comedians at "The Second City," one of America's largest comedy theaters with over 60 years of tradition, held in Chicago this March. This time, the number of performers will be significantly increased.

The Chicago performance was a full-fledged sketch comedy show where 8 comedy groups (12 performers) including Udai Iwasaki (Kamo Mentaru), The Geese, Kohei Ueda (formerly Zoffy), and Akira Shinomiya (formerly Ojinsan Ozubon), performed their skits, which had been presented in the Japanese comedy scene, after appropriate translation and localization, all in English.
