MHI Machinery Systems Supports Traffic Congestion Mitigation Campaign on Kan-Etsu Expressway

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machinery Systems (MHI-MS), in collaboration with the Institute for System Science, is supporting NEXCO East Japan's campaign to reduce traffic congestion on the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Scheduled for weekends and holidays in June and July 2026, the initiative encourages drivers to travel outside peak hours by offering digital points through a web application. MHI-MS contributes its expertise in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for planning, system development, and verification of social issue solutions.
