[First-Time Event] Working Cars Event at Fukaya Hanazono Outlets: 11 Vehicles from Rare GT-R Police Car to SDF Vehicles Gather

Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets (Location: Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture; Operator: Mitsubishi Estate-Simon Co., Ltd.) will host its first-ever hands-on event, 'Working Cars Assemble!', bringing together vehicles from five organizations involved in the community, including police, Self-Defense Forces, and private companies, on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

[Highlights of this Release]

1. A first-time event, gathering 11 vehicles at the outlet, from rare to familiar ones. You can take commemorative photos with a wide range of popular vehicles, including a rare GT-R police car, a police motorcycle, SDF vehicles, and a garbage packer truck.

2. Gari Gari Kun becomes the 'Goodwill Ambassador for a Safe Community!' A free-to-watch inauguration ceremony will be held. This is an event where you can also interact with popular characters through character greetings and a quiz stamp rally.

3. Fukaya Hanazono Outlets is perfect for a family weekend plan, with the 'Asobo! Gari Gari Kun' mini theme park and plenty of restaurants with kids' menus.

This event is the first of its kind at Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets, carried out in cooperation with five organizations/companies: Police, Fire Department, Self-Defense Forces, JAF, and Clean System Co., Ltd. (waste collection).

The venue will feature a total of 11 'working cars,' including the rare 'GT-R police car,' a domestic sports car patrol car, the popular police motorcycle for children, SDF vehicles that are rarely seen up close, garbage trucks, and road service cars. It's an event where you can take commemorative photos and have ride-along experiences with these impressive vehicles.

Another highlight is the inauguration ceremony of the popular character 'Gari Gari Kun' as the 'Goodwill Ambassador for a Safe Community,' conducted by the Yorii Police Station. Additionally, there will be plenty of content for parents and children to experience together, such as character greetings with Gari Gari Kun, a quiz stamp rally, and the issuance of child safety licenses by JAF.

Combined with the 'Asobo! Gari Gari Kun' mini theme park based on Gari Gari Kun located within the outlet, and shopping for kids' & baby goods as well as for adults, families can enjoy a memorable weekend outing.

<Event> The popular character 'Gari Gari Kun' from 'Akagi Nyugyo,' headquartered in Fukaya City, will be appointed as the 'Goodwill Ambassador for a Safe Community!' Various events will be held, including character greetings and a quiz stamp rally.

(1) 'Goodwill Ambassador for a Safe Community' Commissioning Ceremony To mark Gari Gari Kun's appointment as goodwill ambassador, a certificate of commission will be presented to Gari Gari Kun, and the Yorii Police Chief will give a speech. - Location: Center Court - Time: 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM

(2) Gari Gari Kun Greeting A character greeting will be held where you can take photos with the newly appointed goodwill ambassador, Gari Gari Kun.
