## About Asian Film Joint

Asian Film Joint is a film screening and exchange project that utilizes the film assets cultivated between Fukuoka and Asia to create new interactions and collaborations. It began its activities in 2021.

The project aims to continue utilizing the diverse film assets (networks with Asian filmmakers, collections of Asian classic films held by the Fukuoka City Public Library Film Archive, etc.) that Fukuoka City has cultivated with Asia over 30 years through events like the 'Asian Focus Fukuoka International Film Festival (1991-2020)' and the 'Fukuoka City Film Archive (1996-)'. It seeks to add new chapters to the history of film and culture built by this city and Asia, connecting it to the future.
