Sanki Keiso Co., Ltd. (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Manabu Matsuoka; hereinafter "Sanki Keiso") is pleased to announce the launch of its new combined environment control system for horticultural facilities, the "Fukugou-kun Light" (Model: GP-FK3L).

▲ Image of Fukugou-kun Light (GP-FK3L) exterior (under development, may differ from actual product)

The "Fukugou-kun Light" is a new model targeted at horticultural businesses considering equipment upgrades for existing greenhouses or the introduction of new combined environment control systems. With the concept of "light cost, gentle operation, and solid control," it achieves an accessible price point (list price: 280,000 yen (excluding tax)) and a compact size (280(H) x 280(W) x 130.5(D) mm).

The combined control logic inherits that of the current model, "Fukugou-kun III," and enables control of major facilities in horticultural operations, including windows, curtains, heating, ventilation fans/circulation fans, CO2 application, timers, and alarms.

Furthermore, it comes standard with the "House Remote Control Function" for wireless communication within the farm, enabling intuitive and user-friendly operation via smartphones and other devices. It also supports three communication functions that can be selected according to user needs, including remote control using UECS (Ubiquitous Environment Control System) and cloud management using the Midori Cloud environment control option.

The actual product will be unveiled for the first time at the Sanki Keiso booth at "Horticulture & Plant Factory Expo 2026 (GPEC)" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 15 (Wed) to 17 (Fri), 2026.

Key Features of "Fukugou-kun Light"

1. Achieves an accessible price point and compact size, considering upgrades for existing greenhouses

The "Fukugou-kun Light" features a thoroughly revised enclosure design, keeping in mind user needs for equipment upgrades in existing greenhouses and the introduction of new combined environment control systems. This has resulted in an accessible price point and a compact size that allows installation even in narrow greenhouses where existing equipment is lined up.

2. Despite being a compact model, it inherits the control functions of "Fukugou-kun III," supporting control of windows, curtains, heating, ventilation, CO2 application, etc.

"Fukugou-kun Light" inherits the combined control logic of the existing model "Fukugou-kun III" and is equipped with 6 channels for window/curtain open/close outputs and 4 channels for heating/ventilation fan ON/OFF outputs. Some channels can have their connected equipment changed from the factory settings, allowing for use tailored to the user's existing facilities.

It also supports linked control, such as window and heating, or window and CO2 application. Control that closes windows and maintains them for a set period during heating or CO2 application helps suppress conflicting equipment operations, making it effective for reducing heating costs and efficient CO2 application.

Example of Environment Control Functions for Fukugou-kun Light

Window x Heating Synchronized Control

Restricts and suppresses window opening/closing when heating is ON to enable efficient heating. Prevents conflicting operations, achieving both optimization of the greenhouse environment and energy saving.

Window x CO2 Linked Control

Automatically closes open windows when CO2 gas is applied, and reopens them after a set period has passed. Prevents gas loss and maximizes application efficiency.

Translucent Ventilation Control

Slightly opens curtains or windows to exhaust moisture from the greenhouse. Reduces the risk of condensation and diseases during the rainy season or on rainy days, ensuring a stable ventilation environment.

Curtain Reversal Control

If the outside temperature drops sharply after opening the curtains, it automatically switches to closing operation based on the reversal temperature setting. Suppresses the impact of unexpected temperature drops on crops.

Window/Curtain Opening Limit Control

Allows setting the opening width for windows. For thermal curtains, it is possible to maintain a state of not fully opening by setting a larger sensitivity.

3. House Remote Control Function and selectable communication functions to support daily cultivation environment management

"Fukugou-kun Light" supports the "House Remote Control Function" as a standard feature.

The House Remote Control Function allows users to connect their PCs or smartphones to the "Fukugou-kun Light's" wireless LAN to check environmental data and change control settings. It provides intuitive and user-friendly operation without the need for cloud contracts or monthly usage fees. The House Remote Control Function can be used by selecting either "Access Point (AP) Mode" or "Station Mode" according to the user's environment.

Additionally, as an option, it supports remote control linkage using UECS and an environment control option linked with "Midori Cloud," an environmental monitoring device sold by Seraku Co., Ltd. Users can choose communication configurations according to their needs, including short-range wireless control within the farm, remote control via the internet, and cultivation environment management using cloud services.

▲ Three Communication Configurations Available with Fukugou-kun Light

*Separate contract is required to use the Midori Cloud environment control option. *Communication charges and cloud service usage fees are based on the contract terms with each service provider. *Midori Cloud is a registered trademark of Seraku Co., Ltd. *The UECS communication requires the optional "UECS Interface Board."
