Sanshin Electric to Hold Post NAB 2026 Exhibition and Seminar on May 28-29

Sanshin Electric, the domestic master distributor for LiveU, will host a 'Post NAB' event on May 28-29. The seminar will showcase new technologies announced by LiveU and Sony at the NAB Show 2026 held in Las Vegas. By integrating technologies from both companies, this creates a new option for efficiency in IP-based newsgathering and live broadcast workflows, supplementing conventional transmission methods.

As part of its portfolio, LiveU is providing a Sony RXS connection license. This enables video files shot with Sony cameras to be transmitted directly to Sony’s PWA-RXS via LiveU field units.

This feature will be rolled out starting with LiveU's compact field unit, the LU300S. This allows for seamless file transmission while maintaining existing production environments and workflows, expanding capabilities in cellular bonding and IP-based news reporting.

This solution complements the LiveU TX1, a data transmitter for Sony's professional camera series announced in September 2025, realizing high-speed and reliable file transmission from cameras using bonding technology. By utilizing LiveU’s proprietary protocol, LRT™ (LiveU Reliable Transport), it enables fast and stable file transmission from field cameras to TV stations.

Leveraging its technical skills as LiveU's master distributor and its long-standing track record in system proposal and construction for the broadcast industry, Sanshin Electric will provide new file-based workflows. We believe that this partnership between LiveU and Sony offers new options for broadcast and video production environments, bringing a transformation to future production styles.
