Regarding the Recovery Status of Wakura Onsen

Due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa 6 (2024), many facilities supporting the local tourism and economy suffered extensive damage and were forced to close.

Although all inns were temporarily closed, 9 of the 19 inns have now reopened.

Furthermore, Soyu, a regional community hub, and shops are also gradually resuming business.

While complete recovery will still take time, we believe that the "Wakura Pokemon Footbath" will energize the region and contribute to its recovery by attracting many tourists who visit for the footbath experience.
