General Incorporated Association Reaching Zero-Dose Children will hold an event called "Ghana Tour Showcase" on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Yushima Campus of Tokyo University of Science. This event will serve as both a report on their activities in Ghana and a cultural exchange, following the achievement of their crowdfunding project "Tackling Ghana's Vaccine Challenges! Nurturing Healthy Habits in Daily Life ~For the Children of the Future~". In addition to in-person attendance, some programs will also be accessible online.

This event is planned with gratitude to everyone who supported our activities through crowdfunding. Simultaneously, it will serve as an "Activity Report Session" to broadly share the lessons learned, and the results of local research and health education activities gained through our trip to Ghana, accompanied by photos and videos. We aim to make this an opportunity to share with many interested individuals, including our supporters.

Participatory Event to Experience "The Most Charming Ghana"

The "Ghana Tour Showcase" is not merely a report session, but an interactive event designed to allow visitors to experience the "charm of Ghana" that we encountered locally.

Together with co-organizer GSU (Ghanaian Students Union in Japan), we have prepared a program that allows participants to experience Ghana's medical care, culture, people's lives, food, music, and art from multiple perspectives. The content aims to make the vaccine challenges observed locally, and the lifestyle and social contexts behind them, feel more relatable.

Furthermore, this event is an official showcase held with the support of the Embassy of Ghana in Japan.

Four Activities to Holistically Convey the Charm of Ghana

This event will introduce the charm of Ghana from multiple angles through the following four activities:

1. Talk & Discussion

We will welcome guests who know the field and delve into the current state of healthcare and society in Ghana. Travel members will also share their real-life experiences in the field and the challenges identified through their research activities.

2. Made in Ghana Products

We will introduce special products unique to Ghana. Participants can experience the blessings and charm of local craftsmanship, such as chocolate and honey.

3. Cultural Expo

Diverse Ghanaian culture, including traditional costumes, music, art, food culture, nature, and tourist attractions, will be exhibited. The event is structured to allow all visitors to enjoy Ghana visually and sensually.

4. Social Interaction

We will create time to feel human connections through interactions with Ghanaian students in Japan and dancing to Afrobeats. We aim for a place of cross-border dialogue and mutual understanding.
