General Incorporated Association niko’co (Headquarters: Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director: Mao Tamura) has announced the "Child-rearing Connection Mark" (nickname: "Child-rearing Mark"), which visualizes the unspoken desires of "I need help (parents)" and "I want to help (bystanders)" when going out with children in modern society, where human relationships have become tenuous, thereby connecting people.
According to our own survey, 93% of people feel "I need help when going out with children, but I can't voice it," indicating that isolated parenting is a serious social issue. By wearing this mark as a keyholder or similar item, it lowers psychological barriers, contributes to resolving the isolation of child-rearing, and realizes the well-being of both parents/children and local residents.
Our company endorses April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day to express dreams. This press release is a dream of "General Incorporated Association niko’co."

◾️ What is the Child-rearing Connection Mark (nickname: Child-rearing Mark)?
*Special edition keyholder to be delivered to crowdfunding supporters
*Size is approximately 5.5 cm in diameter
Visualization of unspoken feelings
By wearing this mark as a keyholder or sticker on bags, smartphones, etc., it visualizes the feelings of "Please feel free to speak to me if I seem to be in trouble, or if you need a little help" and "I support child-rearing, and I can help a little now" when out and about, enabling clear communication.
Prototype production with students from Toyohashi University of Technology at Makers' Lab Toyohashi
The development of the keyholder prototype was realized through industry-academia-government collaboration.
The production base was "Makers' Lab Toyohashi." Here, with technical support from students of Toyohashi University of Technology, repeated prototyping and verification were carried out using a UV printer.
By adding the students' "flexible ideas" and "solid technical skills" to the "passion" of the representative, who is both the initiator and a parent, a product combining practicality and warmth was born through a co-creation process. Even when facing production challenges, this prototyping period, during which discussions with students were repeatedly held to overcome obstacles, became the origin of this project's philosophy of "mutual support."
Smooth communication through two-color coding
By color-coding the marks for "those seeking help" and "those wanting to help," both parties can instantly grasp the situation, promoting natural mutual assistance without the need for verbal communication.
• "I need help" mark: Emerald Green
This applies to all individuals involved in child-rearing, not just mothers, but also fathers and grandparents raising grandchildren.
• "I want to help" mark: Navy
This applies to all individuals who wish to support child-rearing, regardless of age, gender, or position, such as experienced parents, students, and local residents.
In everyday outings, this mark serves as a common sign connecting three parties: it alleviates parental loneliness, protects children's smiles, and gives form to the desire of those who want to help. By connecting these three parties through the mark, we aim to create an environment where no one is left behind and to generate a "cycle of mutual assistance."

◾️ Achieved 234% of the target in crowdfunding! Nationwide implementation to begin in April 2026
In just 16 days from its launch in November 2025, the initial target of 300,000 yen was achieved. Subsequently, the next goal of 500,000 yen was also surpassed, ultimately receiving 702,000 yen in support (from a total of 162 individuals), which is 234% of the target.
With this tremendous support, we will begin shipping return items in early April 2026. A total of 407 child-rearing mark keyholders will be delivered to the "first users (supporters)" across Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Amami Oshima in the south, marking the start of practical implementation.
Achieving the goal at a speed beyond our imagination strongly indicates society's earnest desire to change the often-isolated child-rearing environment and to offer support.
Based on the warm empathy and support received from everyone, we are currently dedicating our efforts to the production and dissemination of the mark, while also accelerating preparations for general sales.
Moving forward, we will further deepen our collaboration with local governments, companies, and community organizations to expand a "mutual assistance society" where natural help arises, across the nation.

◾️ Project Vision
These six visions are closely related to the SDGs, and the project is progressing towards the realization of a sustainable society.
◾️ Future Outlook
This "Child-rearing Connection Mark" is not just a symbol; it is a "practical tool for nurturing the future" for parents, children, and society alike.
Though small in appearance, we believe it has great potential to visualize hidden support needs, connect feelings, reconstruct human relationships, and bring about changes in the awareness and actions of society as a whole.
Actions of "wanting to help" save someone's isolated parenting and protect children's smiles.
Voices of "needing help" connect to someone's "desire to help" and sense of purpose.
Without stopping this cycle, we aim to create an environment where more parents can go out with their children with peace of mind.
For children, it creates opportunities to accumulate fun memories with their parents, learn through real experiences of mutual assistance, and foster "the power to move forward into the future."
And it creates an environment for social contribution that does not waste the feelings of those who wish to help.
Moving forward, we will further deepen our collaboration with local governments, companies, and community organizations, working together to build a system, and steadily, step by step, advance towards solving social issues and realizing the sustainable society advocated by the SDGs.
