Japan Gifted and Talented Education Association (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Yasuko Hara, hereafter JGTEA) officially started recruiting sponsorship partner companies for FY2026 from April 23, 2026, to build an environment where 'gifted and talented' children with outstanding abilities can spread their wings to the world regardless of economic reasons. In this program, we will introduce Japan's first (according to our research) circular branding support, where the supported gifted students themselves act as creators to film and produce the supporting activities of the companies.

Background: Not letting Japan's 'talent' be buried. Accelerating public-private partnerships and JGTEA's mission
Currently, social interest in gifted education is rapidly increasing, with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology allocating a support budget for 'students with specific talents in specific fields'. However, many talents still face challenges such as being unable to adapt to the existing educational environment, losing self-affirmation, and sometimes falling into truancy.
To solve this social issue, the Japan Gifted and Talented Education Association (JGTEA) was established on October 20, 2022, triggered by Representative Director Yasuko Hara's appearance on the YouTube program 'Reiwa no Tora'. Representative Yasuko Hara is an educator who has been practicing gifted education in English for 17 years and is a regular member of the Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness (APFG). Her unique know-how cultivated in the field is highly evaluated overseas, and she is a pioneer in gifted education in Japan, scheduled to give a research presentation at the APCG Dubai Conference in 2028.
The recruitment of sponsorship partners for FY2026 aims to strengthen support for gifted children who cannot receive advanced education due to economic circumstances. The purpose is to invite 10 students, including truant students, free of charge to the 'Overseas Education Camp Project' scheduled to be held in August 2026, creating opportunities in the world for their talents to blossom.
Benefits for Partner Companies
Branding: As a 'company that nurtures the next generation of talent', an improvement in external brand image and recruitment branding can be expected.
Human Resource Development: Through volunteer participation in the camp, interacting with diverse values and talents will contribute to expanding employees' engagement and perspectives.
Content Utilization: You can secondarily use the scenes of the support activities (videos and photos) for your company's integrated reports and PR activities.
■ Innovativeness of this program: Gifted Creative that 'visualizes' support
Unlike traditional donation-type support, you can experience firsthand how your company's support has changed the children's futures through interaction. In addition, the student creator team will film the situation and produce/provide it as a PR video for corporate branding.
Cinematic Branding (Platinum/Gold Targets): The student creator team will film the camp project with the supporting companies and children. We provide brand movies with overwhelming sensitivity that can be used for corporate recruitment PR and websites.
Future Board of Directors (Proposals): We will create innovative exchange opportunities where gifted children with high abstract thinking abilities make proposals from a 'future perspective' regarding corporate management issues and new businesses.
Sharing Global Presence: Through the activities of JGTEA, a regular member of APFG (Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness), we will broadcast the company's supportive stance to the international educational community.
