This means the technology has gained objective evaluation as a 'new technology from natural materials' suitable for public works.

NETIS is a system managed by MLIT to promote the active use of useful new technologies developed by private companies in public works. Registered technologies become subject to comparative review by designers and project owners. The 'Natural Wood Chip Pavement' (Registration No.: CB-250023) was evaluated as a practical walkway construction technology that utilizes natural materials while ensuring usability.
