Children's Illustrations Become Real T-Shirts! 'Everyone's T-Shirt Design Exhibition' to Be Held

The Kodomo Design Academy, an illustration and manga class for elementary and junior high school students operated by the General Incorporated Association Hattatsu Dekoboko Association (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Yokohama City / Representative Director: Maho Ito), which has been supporting children with developmental disorders and in the gray zone for over 10 years, will hold an exhibition titled 'Everyone's T-Shirt Design Exhibition' on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

This exhibition will display approximately 20 T-shirt designs featuring original illustrations created by children. Prior to the exhibition, a special lecture titled 'Tips for Designing Cute T-Shirts' was conducted.

About Kodomo Design Academy

Kodomo Design Academy is an illustration and manga class designed for elementary and junior high school students.

Centered on the concept of 'pursuing your passion to the fullest,' the academy offers lessons taught by professional illustrators and active manga artists. Since its launch in 2022, it has expanded from its online main school to around 100 physical locations nationwide, with over 1,000 children currently enrolled.

It has become a beloved space where children can feel safe and express themselves freely.

About the Exhibition

For this exhibition, each child’s original design concept has been transformed into an actual T-shirt. Even under the same theme, diverse ideas and unique worldviews are expressed, showcasing the children’s rich creativity.

Additionally, the venue will sell original merchandise from Kodomo Design Academy, including acrylic keychains and clear files.
