The Health Community Forum (hereinafter 'the Forum'), operated by the General Incorporated Association for Promoting a Lifelong Healthy Society, will host 'GovCo Bridge 2026' (hereinafter 'GovCo 2026') from July to December 2026.

This initiative aims to treat municipal and regional challenges as market needs, leveraging and expanding the resources and solutions offered by private organizations. Through collaboration and co-creation among municipalities, companies, and the Forum, it seeks to solve regional issues and foster innovation. This is the first nationwide program of its kind this fiscal year.

For businesses and organizations, this offers a valuable opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with municipal officials, understand local challenges, and explore new business opportunities, pilot projects, and implementation possibilities.

GovCo 2026 features three key steps: ① Municipalities present their visions, needs, and challenges (First Pitch); ② Private organizations propose approaches to advance policies and solve issues based on these presentations (Meetup Pitch); and ③ Both parties deepen mutual understanding and explore concrete collaboration through dialogue (Roundtable). This structured process enables iterative proposal and dialogue between municipalities and private enterprises.
