Kosoku Co., Ltd. to Host Art Contest by People with Disabilities Titled 'Dreams and Romance: Connecting People'

The Paralymart Organizing Committee of the General Incorporated Association for Promoting Independence of Persons with Disabilities (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Akihiro Matsunaga, hereinafter 'Paralymart') will co-host an art contest for people with disabilities nationwide with its Gold Partner, Kosoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Miyagino-ku, Sendai; President and CEO: Yuki Her).

'Dreams and Romance: Connecting People' Art Contest by Kosoku Co., Ltd.

Kosoku Co., Ltd. is a specialized trading company for food and light packaging materials. The company supports safe and secure food distribution and enhances the appeal of food through packaging design. This year marks the fifth time the art contest is being held, and winning entries are expected to be used in promotional merchandise designed by Kosoku Co., Ltd. 'Dreams and Romance' serves as a communication tool connecting 'employees with employees,' 'employees with their families,' and 'Kosoku with the Kosoku Group.' We welcome your artistic interpretation of 'Dreams and Romance.'

◆ Eligibility

- Artists registered with Paralymart

- Individuals with disabilities who can register with Paralymart (registration is optional)

- Applicants who have read and agreed to the contest guidelines

Grand Prix: 100,000 JPY (1 winner)

Runner-up: 50,000 JPY (1 winner)

Kosoku Award: 50,000 JPY (1 winner)

About Paralymart (General Incorporated Association for Promoting Independence of Persons with Disabilities)

The Association promotes the independence of people with disabilities by providing their artwork to corporations and individuals and compensating artists for their work. Its primary goal is to support individuals with disabilities who face social and economic challenges, enabling their social participation and economic self-reliance without relying on social welfare. Artist registration is free, and as of June 2026, approximately 500 artists from across Japan have registered.

Paralymart not only supports the independence of people with disabilities but also provides platforms for them to showcase their talents and fosters an environment that encourages continuous challenges.
