What is Mugenkyo no Watashi?

Although Mugenkyo spun a history of 300 years, it unfortunately became a deserted village in 1964 due to a landslide on the back mountain. In that deserted village, industrial heritage such as Oyamazumi Shrine, Mugen Jizo, old folk houses, and a sulfur mine still remain as they were in history.

In recent years, this Jizo statue, shrine, and Kannon-do temple, which escaped repeated disasters, have attracted attention as guardian deities and as "power spots" where the spiritual energy residing there boosts the luck of visitors and grants wishes.

The river fog rising from the water surface is so fantastic that it's as if you've transcended time and space to another world! It is said to be a popular activity in Oku-Aizu that you must visit at least once in your life.
