Overcome Rising Fuel Costs and Extreme Heat: Transport Operators Share Concrete Improvement Cases - TDBC Working Group SDGs Knowledge Bank Seminar on June 16 (Tue)

The Japan Transport Digital Business Council (TDBC) establishes working groups each year based on the challenges faced by transport operators. Member transport operators and supporting members with various technologies and solutions conduct research, analysis, and demonstration experiments to pursue better solutions and widely publicize the information. The 'Working Group for Transition to Sustainable Transport Operators (Promotion of SDGs)' aims to increase the number of operators who view the changing environment—such as the promotion of SDGs across various industries and demands for CO2 reduction from shippers and partner companies—as a business opportunity and actively incorporate it into their management. To this end, it widely introduces the 'SDGs Knowledge Bank Seminar.'

Transport operators will present specific, field-verified 'fuel efficiency improvement measures that lead to profit,' including:

- More eco-friendly driving methods based on demonstration data on engine and tire behavior.
- Operational improvements through precise visualization of idling, and a fuel efficiency improvement of over 6% achieved through the introduction of low-fuel-consumption tires, based on demonstration experiments with eMotion Fleet and Bridgestone.
- A sub-battery system that enables air conditioner use even when the engine is stopped, as a heatstroke countermeasure.

This seminar will clearly explain the 'implementation methods' and 'case studies' that have proven effective in actual field settings, targeting transport business managers. Please register early.
