The forms of family are diversifying, and the scope for individuals to make free choices regarding family in their lives is expanding. Additionally, a trend is observed, especially among younger generations, to emphasize "whether one is satisfied with oneself."
On the other hand, values and environments can differ significantly from the parental generation, who might serve as immediate role models, and with increased choices, many find it harder to make decisions.
In this situation, to actively choose a desired life with satisfaction and achieve well-being, it is considered useful to first understand the actual situations of various people's ways of living.
Therefore, the Association believes that sharing diverse forms of family and various aspects of family through various essays can help readers find hints for envisioning their own ideal family image and gain new perspectives and insights on how to approach family. Furthermore, we hope that fostering a social atmosphere that warmly watches over families will support current and future families.
Award-winning works will be published on the Association's website, and some will be adapted into videos and released on the Association's YouTube channel, among other platforms. We aim to disseminate essays about "family," born from each individual's unique experiences, to a wider audience.
The Association will continue to engage in various social contribution activities, including this project, to contribute to people's rich lives and the realization of a better society.
