Historic Yokohama Kitanaka Marche Celebrates 10 Years with 'Garden Marche' and 'Rose Marche' Linked to Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026

The 'Yokohama Kitanaka Marche' (Organized by: Yokohama Kitanaka Area Management), which celebrated its 10th anniversary in November 2025, is a regular marche held on the third Saturday and Sunday of every month.

It features seasonal themes, and this spring, as a special project in collaboration with 'Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026*', it will host the 'Garden Marche' on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026, and the 'Rose Marche' on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.

Set in an atmospheric venue characterized by historical brickwork, amid Yokohama's cityscape colored by spring flowers, visitors can enjoy the bustling atmosphere unique to a marche along with flower-related products and events. Please drop by during your spring outings.

* 'Garden Necklace Yokohama' is a project led by the City of Yokohama aimed at widely promoting Yokohama's unique charms, such as its beautiful streetscapes adorned with flowers and greenery, parks, and nature-rich satoyama, leading to urban revitalization and the creation of bustling activity.

## Yokohama Kitanaka Marche Event Overview
In the Kitanaka district, the 'Yokohama Kitanaka Marche' has been held on the third Saturday and Sunday of every month since November 2015, with the aim of drawing out Yokohama's distinct character, revitalizing waterfront spaces, and creating a new hub for strolling.

Set against the backdrop of an historic brick venue, it has become firmly established as an urban marche where numerous stores handling fresh vegetables, fruits, and processed goods from Kanagawa Prefecture and nationwide set up shop. It is beloved by many visitors as a vibrant place for interaction unique to Yokohama.

This marche is organized by the Yokohama Kitanaka Area Management association and operated by Courier Co., Ltd.
