Osaka Prefecture and the Japan Marriage Counseling Association (JBA) will jointly launch "Naniwa Enmusubi," a marriage support service targeting single individuals aged 20 and over who reside, work, or study in Osaka Prefecture, starting in June 2026. This project is not funded by public funds from Osaka Prefecture. Amidst growing "matching app fatigue," the service will offer AI-powered matching and online support from dedicated counselors. The registration fee is \u00a538,500 (\u00a527,500 for those under 29), with no monthly fees, \u00a56,600 per matchmaking session, and \u00a566,000 upon successful marriage. Background: The Spread of "Matching App Fatigue"

In recent years, matching apps, easily accessible with just a smartphone, have rapidly become popular. Naniwa Enmusubi Overview

"Naniwa Enmusubi" is a marriage support service jointly operated by Osaka Prefecture and the Japan Marriage Counseling Association (JBA), utilizing the JBA Marriage System established by JBA to support singles wishing to marry.

Interview (Identity Verification)

An online interview will be conducted for identity verification.

Please note that interviews will only be conducted after payment confirmation.

Advance reservation for the interview is required. Please prepare a photo ID (driver's license, My Number card, etc.) at that time.

The interview will also cover matchmaking rules, guidelines, and explanations of membership registration and activity points.

Fees After applying for membership, the registration fee of \u00a538,500 (\u00a527,500 for those under 29) must be transferred within 3 days.

Monthly fees are free. A fee of \u00a56,600 per matchmaking session and \u00a566,000 upon successful marriage are required.

Accompanying person for matchmaking is \u00a51,100 per session. Consultation is free (a fee of \u00a53,300 per session is required for consultations exceeding 30 minutes).

Japan is experiencing a rapid decline in birthrate. If this continues, it could become a major social problem. Approximately 50% of single men in their 20s have no dating experience. JBA will provide full support to help as many happy couples as possible be formed.

Since the government's marriage support policies in fiscal year 2013, the number of local governments implementing marriage support policies nationwide has been increasing.
