Announcement of the Establishment of the 'Interim Management Association of Japan'

We are pleased to announce the establishment of the 'Interim Management Association of Japan' (Location: Tokyo; Representative Director: Kuniko Kitta), aimed at promoting interim management and fostering a healthy market within Japan. In recent years, the business environment surrounding Japanese companies has changed significantly, with DX promotion, global competition, M&A, and business revitalization requiring rapid and high-level management decisions. On the other hand, it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure management talent with the appropriate skills and experience at the necessary time. Against this backdrop, attention is growing in Japan for 'Interim Management,' a practice that has spread mainly in Europe and the United States. Interim management is a system in which experienced management professionals take on roles for a certain period to address specific management issues, transformation phases, or unexpected departures of management/executive staff.
