Rediscover Tokyo as a Water City from the Boat! 'Shinagawa Cruise 2026' to Start Operation on June 13, 2026

The General Incorporated Association Tennozu Canal Side Activation Association (Tokyo, Minato-ku / Representative Director: Yasuyuki Miyake) will operate 'Shinagawa Cruise 2026' from Saturday, June 13, 2026, to Sunday, March 21, 2027, around the tourist spots and canals of Tokyo Bay. We will deliver a non-daily moment to rediscover the charm of 'Tokyo, the Water City,' which can only be experienced on the water.

Our association, in collaboration with various stakeholders centered in Shinagawa Ward, promotes the creation of a lively atmosphere and attractive cultural experiences utilizing the waterside spaces of Tennozu, thereby promoting the development of cultural tourism regions. 'Shinagawa Cruise' will contribute to the creation of new attractions and tourism promotion in Tokyo's Bay Area. Through this cruise, we will provide a special experience value unique to Tokyo's waterside spaces.

【Highlights】

■ Enjoy the world's largest sea fountain 'Tokyo Aqua Symphony' from the deck

You can enjoy the sea fountain with a width of 250m and a height of 150m installed at Odaiba Seaside Park from the best seat on the deck, avoiding the crowds. By looking up at the dynamic show where light and music are linked from the sea, you can experience a different scale of overwhelming presence from the land.

*Note: Tokyo Aqua Symphony may not be performed due to weather conditions, etc.

■ Experience the power and presence of watching airplanes from the ship off Haneda Airport

On the Haneda Airport course, you can see the powerful scene of aircraft taking off and landing from close up on the sea. It is the longest course of this cruise, offering a unique sense of presence that is perfect for aviation fans and visiting foreign tourists.

■ Enjoy the contrast between history and modernity by visiting Tsukudajima and Eitai Bridge, and fully experience Tokyo as a water city

On the Odaiba-Tsukudajima course, you can enjoy the contrast between the streets of Tsukudajima, which retain the atmosphere of Edo, the important cultural property of Eitai Bridge, and the modern building group behind it.

【Details and Highlights of Each Course】

■ Odaiba Course

This standard course departs from East Shinagawa 2-chome Pier and tours Odaiba while viewing Tokyo Aqua Symphony from the deck. With a duration of approximately 55 minutes, it is compact and recommended for first-time cruisers.

Highlights: Dynamic scenery of Rainbow Bridge, lighting of the Bay Area

■ Odaiba-Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line Course

This satisfying course, with a duration of approximately 100 minutes, includes the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line as a route. You can fully enjoy the scenery created by urban infrastructure and waterside.

Highlights: Tokyo Big Sight viewed from the water, Tokyo Gate Bridge known as the 'Dinosaur Bridge'

■ Odaiba-Tennozu Canal Course

This course proceeds along the Tennozu Canal while viewing Tokyo Aqua Symphony from the deck. You can slowly appreciate the numerous large artworks of Tennozu from the water.

Highlights: Artworks of Tennozu viewed from the canal, a fantastical scene where the light of buildings reflects on the water surface

■ Tennozu Canal-Odaiba Course

This course departs from East Shinagawa 2-chome Pier, passes through Odaiba, and circles Tennozu. Since different routes are taken on the way and the return, you can enjoy a varied scenery from Tokyo Bay to the canal.

■ Haneda Airport Course

This expedition course, with a duration of approximately 100 minutes, heads south along the Keihin Canal to the waters off Haneda Airport. Here, you can appreciate the successive airplanes flying overhead from a unique angle and size only possible from the deck.

■ Odaiba-Tsukudajima Course

This cultural course, with a duration of approximately 100 minutes, heads north to the Tsukudajima-Eitai Bridge area while viewing Tokyo Aqua Symphony. You can fully experience Tokyo as a 'water city.'

Highlights: The important cultural property 'Eitai Bridge,' the contrast between the old streets of Tsukudajima, which retain the atmosphere of Edo, and modern building groups
