Experience Hokkaido Culture with All Five Senses at Tennoz: "Tennoz Canal Fes 2026 Spring/Summer" to be Held from May 22 (Fri) to 24 (Sun)

The Tennoz Canal Side Revitalization Association (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Yasuyuki Miyake) will host the "TENNOZ CANAL FES 2026 -SPRING・SUMMER-" (Tennoz Canal Fes 2026 Spring/Summer) for three days from May 22 (Friday) to May 24 (Sunday), 2026, at Tennoz CANAL EAST, Tennoz Canal, Isle Shinagawa, and Seafort Square Center Court.

"TENNOZ CANAL FES" is an event regularly held twice a year in the Tennoz area. The association was registered as a DMO in March 2024 and is actively working to promote "new forms of tourism" from Tennoz, combining urban tourism with regional and broader collaborations. Since last year, in addition to the regular program, the association has expanded content that showcases the charms of various regions of Japan, aiming to contribute to regional revitalization through regional collaboration. With the cooperation of Satsudora Holdings Co., Ltd., which operates businesses based in Hokkaido, this year's theme is "Fusion of Hokkaido Culture and Tennoz," offering numerous contents to enjoy Hokkaido's culture, traditional crafts, and food.

- A waterfront feast enlivened by artists from Hokkaido, Ainu folk songs, and dances.
- Enjoy Hokkaido's unique gourmet delights such as seafood, Genghis Khan, soup curry, ramen, and soft-serve ice cream.
- Experience traditional culture through sales of folk crafts like wooden bears and Ainu-patterned bandanas, and Ainu culture workshops for parents and children.
- Live painting expressing Hokkaido's nature by two artists from Hokkaido.

- Gourmet Marche
Hokkaido's representative gourmet foods such as Asahikawa ramen, Genghis Khan, seafood bowls, and tako-zangi will gather in Tennoz. A diverse lineup of drinks like craft beer and wine, and sweets will also be available. Enjoy authentic flavors made with Hokkaido-sourced ingredients.

- Product and Craft Exhibition
A market will be set up where you can discover and purchase traditional Hokkaido crafts and carefully selected items from various parts of the prefecture. There will be Ainu cultural workshops and traditional craft experience corners, as well as a deer butchering demonstration from a food education perspective. PR booths for various Hokkaido municipalities will also be set up to provide information on relocation and tourism.

- Music Live
Live performances by Hokkaido-related artists "KALMA Yuzuki Hatayama" and "mugi band," as well as Ainu folk song performances, will be held on "T-LOTUS M," a ship space moored in the Tennoz Canal. Enjoy music inspired by Hokkaido's rich nature and culture on the stage of the Tennoz Canal.

- Art Live Painting
Live painting will be performed by two artists from Hokkaido. Mitsugu Aikawa, who depicts the harmony of life and nature using the power of lines and shapes, and Marina Tanaka, who expresses the sensations received from Hokkaido's nature and travels through color and composition. Enjoy the moment their works are created in real-time before your eyes.
