The 6 winners of the 4th Saitama New Business Award alongside Chairman Ryoichi Kure

The Saitama New Business Council (Chairman: Ryoichi Kure) held the awards ceremony for the '4th Saitama New Business Award' on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Stella del Angelo (Chuo-ku, Saitama City).

On the day of the event, the six finalists delivered their final presentations, and Minoru Nakamura (Kasukabe City), who developed a unique surface texturing technology called 'HNP Processing' utilizing femtosecond lasers, was awarded the Grand Prize.

The winners received certificates and trophies, along with a support system provided by members and a one-year special membership. As guests of honor, Saitama Governor Motohiro Ono (represented by Vice Governor Atsushi Horimitsu) and Kazuhiro Akimoto, President of the Saitama Industry Promotion Public Corporation, attended the ceremony and offered words of expectation and encouragement for the endeavors originating from Saitama.
