Tickets for "Lake Towada Night Cruise," Wrapped in the Fantastic Lights of the Lake Towada Kosui Matsuri, On Sale from May 11th!

Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the national park designation of the Towada-Hachimantai region, which includes Lake Towada, the 61st Lake Towada Kosui Matsuri will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The highly popular "Lake Towada Night Cruise," whose tickets sell out quickly every year, will be held again. Ticket sales began on May 11th, so if you are interested, please check the official page of the Lake Towada Kosui Matsuri.

The venue for the Lake Towada Kosui Matsuri, Towadako-han Yasumiya, has little artificial light at night, and Lake Towada seen from there also quietly changes its expression. On the "Lake Towada Night Cruise," you can board a pleasure boat, enter the space between the clear night sky and the jet-black water surface, and enjoy the collaboration of balloon lanterns and fireworks while feeling the breath of great nature. The scenery that spreads out before your eyes is a special time that can only be experienced on the night cruise of the Lake Towada Kosui Matsuri. You can spend that moment in the "special seats on the lake" that only a limited number of people can board.

Tickets for the "Lake Towada Night Cruise" are available online from May 11th. The boarding fee is a flat rate of 7,200 yen for adults and children. Additionally, the first 70 purchasers will be eligible for an early bird discount at 6,800 yen per person.
