【May 28】Kickoff Event for 'Future Disaster Prevention Collaborative Lab' to Foster Joint Research, Product, and Service Development in Disaster Tech (Bosai DX)

The Advanced Technology Innovation Organization and the Osaka City Abeno Disaster Prevention Center will hold the "Future Disaster Prevention Collaborative Lab Kickoff" on May 28, 2026, at Abeno Tascal.

This event is not merely a presentation session but a co-creation event where government, companies, organizations, production businesses, and researchers gather to actually form joint research themes and Proof of Concept (PoC) themes.

At the previous event held on March 26, companies and organizations from multiple fields participated. Sparked by a research presentation by junior volunteer researcher Masafumi Okamoto of the Junior Academy for Advanced Technology Research (a joint operation between the Advanced Technology Innovation Organization and the Gakkai Shinko Foundation), there was a lively exchange of business cards and individual consultations aimed at recruiting co-creation partners. This second event will advance that momentum into concrete joint research, product/service development, and public interest commercialization.
