Vibram Japan Releases Short Film 'Energia Vitale' from 'Mountains of Milano' Project

Vibram Japan K.K. Milan, with its unique geographical and cultural background where the Alps can be seen beyond the Milan Cathedral on sunny days, became the origin of Vitale Bramani's mountaineering life and the birth of Vibram. In this work, leading modern climbers re-climb the historical routes that Vitale Bramani pioneered about 100 years ago. It is not just a documentary, but a video poem themed on 'city and mountain,' 'past and present,' and 'memory and inheritance.' About the film 'Energia Vitale.' The film features world-class climbers Barbara Zangerl, Matteo Della Bordella, and Pietro Vidale. They face the mountains from a modern perspective while tracing the routes once pioneered by Vitale Bramani. It also weaves in poems by Antonia Pozzi, a leading 20th-century Italian poet, memories of the founding family, and episodes remaining in mountaineering history, depicting Vibram's 100-plus-year history and the 'fundamental human impulse to head to the mountains.'
