Solving Facility Challenges

- Difficulty hiring specialized chefs and nutritionists; challenging to calculate precise nutritional values - Struggling with menu planning due to rising ingredient costs, making it difficult to hire chefs and nutritionists and calculate nutrition - Rising ingredient costs have increased per-meal expenses - Difficulty preparing meals tailored to users' needs

Watami Takushoku solves these facility challenges.

Kan-tan Kitchen

We offer 'Kan-tan Kitchen,' chilled packaged side dishes designed for welfare facilities, allowing easy meal preparation with just a water bath heating. Because they are chilled, the flavor and texture differ from frozen meals. Additionally, we deliver fresh daily portions, eliminating the need for large refrigerator space. Facilities appreciate the shorter heating time compared to frozen meals, saving time and effort.

About Watami Takushoku

About Watami Takushoku

Watami Takushoku aims to become 'infrastructure supporting society' by delivering daily changing meals and 'sincere care' to customers. Bento boxes and side dishes are delivered by 'heartfelt staff' who live in the same regions as customers. We deliver approximately 240,000 meals daily and have achieved 'No. 1 sales share for 16 consecutive years' in the home-delivered meals market for patients and the elderly.

In March 2020, we became the first in the industry to launch nationwide recycling of our own bento containers, turning them into new containers, contributing to the achievement of SDGs goals.
