Ringrow Co., Ltd., a reused PC business, is hosting a participatory event from May 27, 2026, inviting ideas for a new holiday in June, the only month in Japan without national holidays since 1948. Inspired by their internal "my holiday system" where employees set their own days off, the event asks the public to propose a date, name, and reason for a June holiday via LINE. Top ideas will be nominated for public voting on X (formerly Twitter). The grand prize winner will receive a 5,000-yen Amazon gift code, with 1,000-yen codes for five runner-ups.
