Lix Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Representative Director and President & CEO: Taku Yasui, hereinafter referred to as "our company"), a "manufacturer-trader" that underpins domestic and international industries, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a capital and business alliance with LiLz Inc. (Headquarters: Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Keigo Onishi, hereinafter referred to as "LiLz"), a provider of remote inspection solutions utilizing IoT and AI.

Through the collaboration between the two companies, we aim to address the challenges of "prolonged inspection operations and labor shortages" that are issues in production sites.

Background to the Collaboration

Since our founding 119 years ago, our company has been involved in the production sites of industries such as steel, automotive, and semiconductors, solving customer challenges through the provision of products and services.

Currently, production sites face challenges such as "aging machinery and equipment" and "labor shortages due to a decrease in skilled technicians." Our company is promoting "co-creation," where we develop solutions in collaboration with external partners, to address the diverse challenges of production sites.

As part of this initiative, we have entered into a capital and business alliance with LiLz, which has strengths in remote inspection. By combining the strengths of both companies, we will promote the efficiency of production sites.
