Have you been missing the chance to say, 'I want to get better'?

Spring is the perfect season to start or resume bodyboarding as water and air temperatures gradually rise. With relatively stable wave conditions, this period allows for comfortable time in the ocean and is actually the best timing for improvement.

On April 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun), the 'play-ah!' bodyboarding event for those who 'want to improve' will be held at Hirasaura Coast in Chiba. In addition to a school led by professional riders, we will conduct video coaching where you can learn by objectively observing your own riding. Furthermore, the connection between participants sharing the same time is a major attraction of this event.

Improve while having fun. These two days will give you that sense of progress.

■ What is play-ah!?
'play-ah!' is an experiential event for enjoying and improving bodyboarding. Through schools led by QCD Bodyboards riders and video coaching, participants can feel their growth and identify challenges. A key feature is that anyone from beginners to experienced riders can participate according to their level.

■ 'Understand' through School + Video
In the morning, practical school sessions are held by professional riders. You can receive advice tailored to your needs, from basics to advanced techniques. Furthermore, in the video school held exclusively for overnight participants, you can clearly identify areas for improvement by checking your riding objectively. You will improve not just by 'feeling' but by 'understanding.'

■ Participating Professional Riders

Soichiro Kume
A top-level professional bodyboarder in Japan. His weapons are speed and power, delivering stable performances in a wide range of conditions. He is highly regarded for his precise and practical advice in schools, tailoring his instruction to each participant's level.

Mayumi Tone
A female professional rider who has supported the scene for many years. Known for her stable riding and polite instruction, she has a large following. She excels at creating a safe and easy-to-understand atmosphere for beginners.

Mayumi Kondo
A professional rider with both style and technique. In addition to practical advice, her teaching is characterized by conveying higher-level perspectives, such as 'how to present' your riding and line selection. She provides great insights even for intermediate and advanced riders.

School: 9:00–11:30
Video School: Saturday Night (Overnight guests only)

■ Participation Fees

- Overnight: 23,000 yen (Includes school fee, video school, and insurance)
- 1-Day Only: 6,000 yen (Includes insurance)

*Non-overnight guests: Parking fee 500 yen, Hot shower use 500 yen (separate).
*Payment should be made in cash on the day.
