Kyoko Koizumi's 'Fade Out Remixes' Analog Album to be Released, Featuring Treasured Mixes from the 80s Club Scene Revival

"Fade Out," produced by Haruo Chikada in 1989 with the tagline "House for the Living Room," was a significant work that gained support primarily at Shibaura GOLD during the dawn of Japan's club scene. A highly anticipated 12-inch analog record, featuring a 2026 remastered original version of "Fade Out" and treasured remixes by an impressive lineup of artists including Haruo Chikada & OMB, Soichi Terada, and Hiroshi Fujiwara, will be released by U/M/A/A in the autumn of 2026. "Fade Out," which can be called the core of "Wasei Techno Kayō" (Japanese Techno Pop) currently undergoing a re-evaluation and revival boom among diggers in Europe, will also be distributed in Europe by the prestigious club music label Rush Hour. Kyoko Koizumi commented on "Fade Out" as follows: "I clearly remember how everyone's eyes would widen when I sang it on TV music shows or during tours back then (laughs). I sang it thinking, 'Come along, everyone!' But while it might have surprised my existing fans, if different people listened to it, they'd think, 'This song is cool!' At the time, DJs often played it. So, it was really significant that Chikada-san dramatically changed course there. This is a valuable unreleased version produced around 2017 at the request of LUNASUN by the Japanese house legend, popular at festivals both domestically and internationally. AA2: Fade Out (MOODY STRINGS MIX) Hiroshi Fujiwara handled the remix for the non-commercial promotional CD "Idemitsu Energy Station Koizumi Super Remix Contest," which originated from a radio program project in 1990.
