"Fade Out," produced by Haruo Chikada in 1989 with the tagline "House for the Living Room," was a significant work that gained support primarily at Shibaura GOLD during the dawn of Japan's club scene. A highly anticipated 12-inch analog record, featuring a 2026 remastered original version of "Fade Out" and treasured remixes by an impressive lineup of artists including Haruo Chikada & OMB, Soichi Terada, and Hiroshi Fujiwara, will be released by U/M/A/A in the autumn of 2026.
"Fade Out," which can be called the core of "Wasei Techno Kayō" (Japanese Techno Pop) currently undergoing a re-evaluation and revival boom among diggers in Europe, will also be distributed in Europe by the prestigious club music label Rush Hour.
Kyoko Koizumi commented on "Fade Out" as follows:
"I clearly remember how everyone's eyes would widen when I sang it on TV music shows or during tours back then (laughs). I sang it thinking, 'Come along, everyone!' But while it might have surprised my existing fans, if different people listened to it, they'd think, 'This song is cool!' At the time, DJs often played it. So, it was really significant that Chikada-san dramatically changed course there. If Chikada-san had said, 'You're an idol, so let's stick to pop,' I wouldn't be where I am today."

A2: Fade Out (LUNASUN Remix by Haruo Chikada & OMB)
This version was produced around 2023. It had been shelved due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but after their appearance at the "HAYAMAtic! 2025" party held at Hayama Umino Hotel, near their studio in Zushi where they regularly hold sessions, and through beachside interactions with the U/M/A/A team, the label organizing the party, it finally led to its release.
AA1: Fade Out (Soichi Terada Remix)
Soichi Terada, who captivates music fans worldwide with tracks revived and released by the highly acclaimed European label "Rush Hour" about 10 years ago. AA2: Fade Out (MOODY STRINGS MIX)
Hiroshi Fujiwara handled the remix for the non-commercial promotional CD "Idemitsu Energy Station Koizumi Super Remix Contest," which originated from a radio program project in 1990. This remix version was previously favored by Antal, a globally popular DJ who served as the headliner on the final day of "Rainbow Disco Club" in April 2026 and is also the owner of "Rush Hour." Its inclusion in this release was a result of the connection made through entrusting him with the international distribution of this work.
Miai Kohno, a leading Japanese visual director known for her distinctive work in advertising and art direction, was commissioned for the jacket design, making the analog record visually appealing as well.
This limited edition, rare analog record commemorates Kyoko Koizumi, also known as Kyon2, a Japanese cultural icon who continues to evolve, and her valuable achievements in the Japanese underground scene.
