(Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Koji Kawano), which handles the food service business for the UCC Group, will release 'Milkshake,' 'Cinnamon Toast,' and the store-exclusive 'Meat Spaghetti' for a limited time at its main cafe brand, Ueshima Coffee House, starting on Wednesday, April 29.

Since opening its first store in Kanda-Jimbocho, Tokyo, on June 18, 2003, Ueshima Coffee House has leveraged the UCC Group's over 90 years of dedication and technology in coffee, while valuing Japan's coffee shop culture, to provide 'quality moments' in daily life.

The Japanese coffee shop culture cherished by Ueshima Coffee House developed from the Meiji era to the period of high economic growth as a place to encounter culture and art, converse with friends, and gain intellectual stimulation. From the Showa era onwards, the style of masters carefully brewing coffee with hand-drip methods became widespread, intertwining with Japan's unique hospitality and becoming beloved by many people.

At Ueshima Coffee House, we are particular about the baking method: butter is spread on the bread before baking, and then cinnamon sugar is sprinkled on top. The fragrant butter soaks into the dough, resulting in a golden-brown surface and a fluffy texture inside. For the cinnamon sugar, we use cinnamon and granulated sugar that are not too strong in aroma or taste. The moderate texture of the sugar and the subtle bitterness and spiciness of the cinnamon create a perfectly balanced, deep flavor.
