Emergency Power System "AP200F"

Yanmar Energy System Co., Ltd., a group company of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., will launch the emergency power system "AP200F" on July 1, 2026 (Wed.). With its industry-leading compact design, it contributes to overcoming installation space constraints and reducing the burden of construction.

In Japan, although operational failures of emergency power systems are decreasing due to strengthened BCP (Business Continuity Planning) and increased disaster preparedness awareness, power outages caused by Typhoon No. 10 in 2024, which brought severe damage, saw operational stoppages due to issues such as fuel depletion and poor maintenance. This highlighted the importance of preparing for long-term, stable operation. Furthermore, in recent years, the concept of ensuring safety within buildings rather than concentrating in evacuation centers when safety can be secured has become widespread, increasing the importance of securing power on a building-by-building basis for hospitals, government buildings, and apartment complexes. In terms of construction, the need to transport units to limited spaces, such as upper floors or rooftops, in preparation for disasters like tsunamis is also growing.

This unit achieves an output in the 200kVA class with the industry's smallest installation footprint. Its design, which fits easily into narrow urban spaces with limited dedicated area or for renewing existing units, reduces the need for foundation work such as concrete and rebar, contributing to lower installation costs. Furthermore, it supports low fuel consumption and long-term operation through precise fuel injection control by a common rail engine, ensuring a stable power supply.

Industry's Smallest Class Compact Design Optimization of the radiator fan and intake/exhaust structure suppresses ventilation volume, achieving both space saving and improved workability. This contributes to ease of adoption.

Low Fuel Consumption Supporting Long-Term Operation Adoption of a high-efficiency common rail engine enables efficient fuel usage even during long-term operation, supporting stable power supply during disasters and power outages.

Flexible Selection Through Series Expansion Under the common compact design concept of the F series, we have expanded the lineup in the 200kVA output class. Together with the currently available AP130F and AP155F, models can be selected according to application and installation conditions.

Visualization and Remote Monitoring Service

Manages information such as remaining fuel and available operating time collectively. The status of the power generation system can be checked from a personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. It also supports actions such as battery degradation diagnosis and emergency notification of alarms.
