Yamato Protec Introduces Scholarship Repayment Support Program for Employees

Yamato Protec Co., Ltd., a comprehensive disaster prevention company headquartered in Shirokanedai, Minato-ku, Tokyo (President and COO: Hajime Daikou), has introduced a new initiative called the 'Scholarship Repayment Support Program' to support employee career development.

Under this program, the company will directly assist employees with partial repayment of their student loans by utilizing the 'Agency Repayment System' provided by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). This initiative aims to alleviate post-graduation financial burdens, reduce anxiety about the future, and create an environment where employees can confidently pursue their career paths.

Background of the Program Introduction

In recent years, while the number of students utilizing scholarships for higher education has increased, the burden of loan repayment after graduation has begun to affect career choices and future planning. According to a survey by the independent administrative corporation Japan Student Services Organization, approximately one in four students receives scholarship support. Furthermore, the average total loan amount per undergraduate student is about 3.23 million yen, with an average repayment period of approximately 15 years, highlighting the long-term financial strain faced by graduates.

In response to these societal challenges, Yamato Protec has decided to implement this program. The support period will last up to 10 years, with the company providing assistance of up to 10,000 yen per month.
