Heisei Girls' Nostalgia Gathers in Kobe! First-Ever Hoppe-chan x Heisei Fancy Characters Collaboration POP UP at Daimaru Kobe

Memory-Tech Tsukuba Co., Ltd.'s Interactive Contents Division, which operates the 'Sunhoseki' brand, has announced the 'Hoppe-chan x Heisei Fancy Characters: Heisei Nakago♡POPUP.' This event will be held at the Daimaru Museum on the 9th floor of Daimaru Kobe from April 29 to May 18, 2026.

This event marks the first-ever collaboration between 'Hoppe-chan,' the legendary original character of Sunhoseki, and iconic characters from the Heisei era fancy stationery scene: 'Puku Puku Awawa-chan' and 'Happy March' (Kamio Japan), and 'Natto-chan' (Crux).

The POP UP store will offer pre-sales of exclusive collaboration items that blend the three-dimensional cuteness of Hoppe-chan with the nostalgic world of Heisei fancy characters. This 'New Retro' experience is designed to evoke 'emo' nostalgia for those who grew up in the era while offering fresh appeal to Gen Z.

The popular workshop 'Hoppe-chan Shibori' (squeezing and decorating your own Hoppe-chan) will return in a special collaboration edition.
