(Vaido)' (hereinafter "VEID"), through joint investment with Juuya Corporation (Representative Director and President: Ichiko Shimizu / Head Office: Tachikawa-shi, Tokyo; hereinafter "Juuya").

Background and Purpose

The Company has been expanding its digital content business through planning, production, and operation of virtual content including VTubers, video content creation, live streaming, and event management.

In recent years, the digital content market centered on short-form videos and live streaming continues to grow, creating new business opportunities in content domains including virtual talents (VTubers, etc.). In particular, video streaming, fan community building, merchandising, and event expansion originating from virtual talents show high compatibility with IP-based business and are considered a key growth area for the future.

At the same time, this domain experiences rapid changes in market conditions and user trends. Therefore, it is essential to establish a robust business foundation capable of integrated planning, production, distribution, and operation, as well as long-term IP cultivation and commercialization into products and services.

Under these circumstances, the Company has determined that by combining Juuya’s expertise in hobby-related businesses—including planning, product development, sales networks, and IP business knowledge—with the Company’s know-how in digital content planning, technical development, and operations—it will be possible to rapidly launch virtual talent IP businesses and establish a continuous, end-to-end operational framework from concept to commercialization.

Going forward, under a clear division of roles, the two companies will advance the planning, production, distribution, and operation of video content—including virtual talents (VTubers, etc.)—through VEID, aiming to create new value in the digital domain and build a sustainable long-term business foundation.
