【Mandarin Oriental Lake Como】Main Dining Facility Renewed, New Spa Treatments Introduced, Commencing 2026 Season Operations

Mandarin Oriental Lake Como, located in Blevio, a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Como in Northern Italy, has commenced its 2026 season from April 26th this year, following the renovation of its in-house restaurant "L'Aria" and the introduction of new spa treatments. Operations are planned until early November, as in previous years. To commemorate the start of this year's season, we are also offering special limited-time accommodation packages.

### "L'Aria" Interior and Menu Revamped

The interior renovation of "L'Aria" was entrusted to the world-renowned architectural design firm Herzog & de Meuron, led by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron from Basel, Switzerland. The aim was to improve functionality and create a visually more attractive space than ever before. The facility's design style, "Venetian Terrazzo," harmonizes splendidly with Italian marble and polished dark wood, creating a warm and textured color palette. Additionally, old rose-colored fabrics and multiple design details inspired by the surrounding gardens create a sophisticated yet intimate atmosphere. An elegant, sculptural counter serves as a central gathering point for guests, functioning as a buffet table for breakfast and a bar for aperitivo in the evening. The space flows naturally from the veranda to a terrace with stunning views and a lakeside greenhouse. Furthermore, a dramatic ceiling combining pressed cast glass and brass beautifully reflects light, creating an ethereal glow and a sense of timelessness that changes with the hours. A beautiful collection of pottery, handcrafted by local artisans inspired by the scenic beauty of Lake Como, richly adorns the space.

The restaurant offers a menu supervised by Executive Chef Massimiliano Blasone, available all day from breakfast to dinner. Incorporating various cooking techniques and abundant local ingredients, the menu features Japanese traditional "robatayaki," fresh seafood carpaccio, delicate tempura, and contemporary arrangements of classic Italian dishes, among others.

CO.MO Bar & Bistro, one of the most popular spots in the Lake Como area, offers contemporary cuisine and a cocktail menu aptly described as "A Journey Through Italy with Drinks." NAMI Cafe, located in a stylish setting on the shores of Lake Como, provides a more casual atmosphere with Asian-inspired dishes and classic menu items.

### New Spa Treatments Using "111SKIN" Products Introduced

This season, the award-winning in-house spa has introduced four new treatments using products from "111SKIN," a luxury skincare brand from London. Established in 2012 by Dr. Yannis Alexandrides, a world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon, "111SKIN" is a skincare brand that skillfully fuses clinical science with luxury. The "Black Diamond Nonsurgical Lift Facial" smooths and brightens the skin while beautifully enhancing the face line. The "Reparative Longevity Facial" deeply moisturizes, balances, and strengthens the skin's barrier function. Other treatments include the "Even Glow Sculpting Facial" for brightening and regeneration, and the "Cryo Radiance Facial," which promotes microcirculation through cryotherapy, revitalizing the skin and reducing fatigue. These four signature treatments embody the resort's unique approach to wellness, pursuing visible results and deep relaxation.

### "La Primavera in Lake Como" Accommodation Package

To celebrate the start of this year's season, until June 30, 2026, we are offering an accommodation plan that includes a stay at our facility, a gastronomic experience, relaxation, and activities to discover the charms around Lake Como. The plan includes the following contents and is available from 1,770 Euros (approximately 325,000 yen) per room per night for two people.
