Announcement of Arabic Version of 'FATAL FRAME: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse REMAKE': Manga Productions and Koei Tecmo Games to Launch in Middle East Region

Manga Productions (Riyadh/Tokyo), a Saudi Arabia-based game and animation production and distribution company, in accordance with a publishing agreement with Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President & CEO: Hisashi Koinuma) for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, is scheduled to release an Arabic version of the latest entry in the popular game series, 'FATAL FRAME: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse REMAKE', in the second quarter of 2026 (April–June) for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S.

Released worldwide on March 12, the game currently supports multiple languages including Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), and Korean, with the Arabic version planned for support in the second quarter of this year.

This title is a Japanese-style horror adventure game where twin sisters, who wander into a derelict village haunted by vengeful spirits, advance the story while battling those spirits using the 'Camera Obscura,' a device capable of photographing and sealing away things that should not exist.

This remake features a comprehensive renewal not only of graphics and sound, but also of the game systems and controls. While retaining the conventional system of repelling spirits by photographing them with the 'Camera Obscura,' play using the camera is deepened in both exploration and combat. Furthermore, a new action called 'Holding hands with the cocoon' has been added, allowing players to feel the bond between the sisters more deeply.

Significant improvements have been made to the audio, game systems, and controls, realizing a more immersive and refined experience. The 'Camera Obscura,' an iconic system of the series, continues to appear as a central element of the game, bringing a deeper and more engaging experience to exploration and combat.
