(Representative Director: Taeko Nishiyama) will hold "Nurse Matsuri 2026," Japan's largest event for nurses, planned and operated primarily by nurses, for three days from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to Friday, July 10, 2026, at the West Exhibition Hall Atrium of Tokyo Big Sight. This free-to-attend event has opened pre-registration today. Since its first holding in 2024, Nurse Matsuri has continued to embody nurses' desires to "have fun," "learn," and "connect." In 2025, it welcomed 3,069 visitors, and the 2026 event, marking its fourth year, will be even more powerful. This year's theme was decided through a public call for entries from nurses nationwide! The theme for this year, "Connecting, being connected. The heart of nurses," was chosen through a public call for catchphrases from nurses and nursing students nationwide, and selected by votes from those who have been involved with Nurse Matsuri in the past. This phrase was chosen because it simply and deeply expresses what nurses feel most strongly about now, highlighting the feelings experienced in daily work and the value of the Nurse Matsuri event: "connections among nurses," "connections with patients," and "connections with local communities, society, and politics." Under this theme, Nurse Matsuri 2026 aims to be a festival that unites the hearts of all nurses.
