Pets First Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Haruhiko Sakamoto, hereinafter referred to as Pets First Group), which operates under the philosophy of "Pets always come first," will hold an adoption event on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the "NICO PET Misato Store" inside Super Viva Home Misato.

This initiative marks the third event, following adoption events held at NICO PET Hachioji Tamabi-mae Store and NICO PET Kasukabe Store since February 2026. Going forward, the group plans to regularly hold events at various NICO PET stores in the Kanto region, expanding opportunities for pets awaiting foster families to find new homes.

**■ Pets First's Foster Family Search Activities**

At Pets First, based on the philosophy of "Pets always come first," we conduct foster family search activities as a responsible initiative that looks ahead to the pet's life and care even before they are welcomed into a home.

Pets that develop illnesses before sale are treated until they are fully recovered or their health can be maintained with ongoing care, and then they are handed over to foster families who understand their medical condition. We also act as an agent to find foster families for customers who, for unavoidable reasons, find it difficult to continue raising their pets. Furthermore, as part of our CSR activity "Pets always come first project," we have been continuously conducting adoption activities for protected dogs and cats taken in from public health centers and animal welfare centers since 2013.

These pets, waiting for new families, are primarily looked after with love and care daily by staff at our care facility, "Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko." Since 2023, the center has regularly held adoption events, providing over 30 pets with new families to date. *1

**■ Hosting at NICO PET Misato Store**

Pets First Group became a group company of Arclands Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sanjo-shi, Niigata, President: Yoshifumi Sato, hereinafter referred to as Arclands) in June 2025.

This time, the adoption event will be held at the Misato store of "NICO PET," a comprehensive pet specialty store operated by Arclands.

NICO PET advocates "supporting all pet life from cradle to grave," offering a wide range of pet products in addition to various services such as beauty salons and pet hotels, meeting diverse needs of pet owners.

At the adoption event, care staff who usually look after pets will carefully explain the pets' personalities, health conditions, and future living arrangements.

Furthermore, NICO PET Misato store allows pets to accompany owners, so you can also enjoy shopping inside the store. You are welcome to visit just to interact with the pets. Please feel free to stop by.

Moving forward, through collaboration with NICO PET stores, we will continue to regularly hold community-based adoption events, expanding opportunities for pets awaiting new families to find new homes.

Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko is a dedicated pet care facility operated by Pets First.

Opened in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture in 2007, it is a complex facility that provides paid foster family search agency services and lifelong care services, aiming for all pets, regardless of their circumstances, to live happy lives.

It boasts a vast site of approximately 30,000 tsubo (about 9.9 hectares) and hygienic facilities, including a fully equipped examination room where veterinarians provide medical care.
